Stat. tit. 40, § 40-4-312","heading":"Personnel and compensation","body":"PERSONNEL AND COMPENSATION.\n\nSubject to other provisions of Section 1-101 et seq. of this\n\ntitle, the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission is authorized to\n\nappoint, fix the compensation and prescribe the duties and powers of\n\nsuch officers, accountants, attorneys, experts and other persons as\n\nmay be necessary in the performance of its duties under Section 1-\n\n101 et seq. of this title. The Commission is authorized and\n\ndirected to maintain the existing merit system covering all persons\n\nemployed in the administration of this act and shall have authority,\n\nby rule, to provide for all matters which are appropriate to the\n\nestablishment and maintenance of a merit system on the basis of\n\nefficiency and fitness.
