No person shall be excused from attending\n\nand testifying or from producing books, papers, correspondence,\n\nmemoranda, and other records before the Commission, the Board of\n\nReview, the chairman of an appeal tribunal, or any duly authorized\n\nrepresentative of any of them, or in obedience to the subpoena of\n\nany of them in any cause or proceeding before the Commission, the\n\nBoard of Review, or an appeal tribunal, on the ground that the\n\ntestimony or evidence, documentary or otherwise, required of him may\n\ntend to incriminate him or subject him to a penalty or forfeiture;\n\nbut no individual shall be prosecuted or subjected to any penalty or\n\nforfeiture for or on account of any transaction, matter, or thing\n\nconcerning which he is compelled, after having claimed his privilege\n\nagainst self-incrimination, to testify or produce evidence,\n\ndocumentary or otherwise, except that such individual so testifying\n\nshall not be exempt from prosecution and punishment for perjury\n\ncommitted in so testifying.","path":["OK Code","Title 40"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os40.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4408f244f57ca0ea04b7a8896c1814f6b33536ea049cf35e557176170e57124b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-4-506","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-4-508"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
