The Oklahoma State Employment Service is hereby\n\nestablished in the Employment Security Division of the Commission.\n\nThe Commission, in the conduct of such service, shall establish and\n\nmaintain free public employment offices in such number and in such\n\nplaces as may be necessary for the proper administration of this act\n\nand for the purposes of performing such functions as are within the\n\npurview of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Act to provide for the\n\nestablishment of a national employment system and for cooperation\n\nwith the States in the promotion of such system, and for other\n\npurposes,\" approved June 6, 1933, (48 Stat. 113; U.S.C., title 29,\n\nSection 49 (c)) as amended, hereinafter referred to as the \"Wagner-\n\nPeyser Act.\" The provisions of the said Act of Congress are hereby\n\naccepted by this state, and the Commission is hereby designated and\n\nconstituted the agency of this state for the purposes of said act.","path":["OK Code","Title 40"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os40.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"72adb7e85d1f299c01a513846d195b6b169766f4044d494f8da92a0a0f7b7b67","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-4-801","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-4-803"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
