Any person failing to comply with any standard or\n\ninterfering with, impeding or obstructing in any manner the\n\nadministration of standards pursuant to the provisions of the\n\nOklahoma Occupational Health and Safety Standards Act, upon\n\nconviction, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.\n\nB. Any person who violates any of the provisions of the\n\nOklahoma Occupational Health and Safety Standards Act, upon\n\nconviction, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and in addition thereto\n\nmay be enjoined from continuing such violation. Each day upon which\n\nsuch violation occurs shall constitute a separate violation.\n\nC. The Attorney General, on the request of the Commissioner,\n\nshall bring an action against any person violating any of the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Occupational Health and Safety Standards\n\nAct or violating any order or determination of the Commissioner\n\npromulgated pursuant to the Oklahoma Occupational Health and Safety\n\nStandards Act.\n\nD. The Commissioner of Labor may promulgate rules establishing\n\na schedule of administrative penalties and fines for violations of\n\nthe Oklahoma Occupational Health and Safety Standards Act which may\n\nbe in addition to or in lieu of the criminal penalties provided in\n\nthis section. The promulgation of an administrative fine schedule\n\nshall grant the Commissioner authority to impose those\n\nadministrative fines for any violation of the Oklahoma Occupational\n\nHealth and Safety Standards Act. Funds collected as payment from a\n\nviolator for administrative fines imposed for a violation of the\n\nOklahoma Occupational Health and Safety Standards Act shall be\n\ndeposited to the Department of Labor Administrative Penalty\n\nRevolving Fund created in Section 3 of this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 40"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os40.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"695ce7cb222ac7658154b5da144681e9183af14ce02ecaf4febc025eae9927ac","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-410","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-413"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
