Any employer or any officer or agent\n\nof an employer or any other person who makes a false statement or\n\nrepresentation knowing it to be false, or who knowingly fails to\n\ndisclose a material fact, to prevent or reduce the payment of\n\nbenefits to any individual entitled thereto, or to avoid becoming or\n\nremaining a subject employer or to avoid or reduce any contribution\n\nor other payment required from an employing unit under this act or\n\nunder the unemployment compensation law of any state or of the\n\nfederal government, or who willfully fails or refuses to make or to\n\nfurnish any reports required hereunder or to produce or permit the\n\ninspection or copying of records as required hereunder, shall be\n\nguilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less\n\nthan Fifty Dollars ($50.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($500.00), or by imprisonment for not longer than ninety (90) days,\n\nor by both fine and imprisonment; and each such false statement or\n\nrepresentation or failure to disclose a material fact, and each day\n\nof such failure or refusal shall constitute a separate offense.","path":["OK Code","Title 40"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os40.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4cdb3120a3198570106c817a3f0772c48c3183b258c9d77dd6a250b2b2c0f8dc","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-5-102","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-5-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
