Stat. tit. 40, § 40-5-107","heading":"Wrongful disclosure of information","body":"WRONGFUL DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION.\n\nIf any employee or member of the Board of Review or the Oklahoma\n\nEmployment Security Commission or any employee of the Commission, or\n\nany employee of a governmental unit, private business or nonprofit\n\nentity that is allowed access to information under Section 4-508 of\n\nthis title, makes any disclosure of confidential information or\n\notherwise violates Section 4-508 of this title, or if any person who\n\nhas obtained any list of applicants for work, or of claimants or\n\nrecipients of benefits, under Section 5-101 et seq. of this title\n\nshall use or permit the use of such list for any political purpose,\n\nsuch individual shall be guilty of a Class D1 felony offense and\n\nshall be punished by a fine of not less than Fifty Dollars ($50.00)\n\nnor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or imprisoned as\n\nprovided for in subsections B through F of Section 20N of Title 21\n\nof the Oklahoma Statutes, or both.","path":["OK Code","Title 40"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os40.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3b3ee1b84145c45f322f78232ae74c5c905b0999df29f5c742938c6771b53857","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-5-104","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-5-108"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
