The monies in the OESC Computer Fund shall be used for the\n\nfollowing purposes:\n\n1. To purchase or lease a new computer system for the Oklahoma\n\nEmployment Security Commission to be used in its mission to provide\n\nan employment service, unemployment insurance, and economic research\n\nfor the citizens of this state as well as the administration of\n\nthese programs;\n\n2. To purchase or lease any auxiliary or peripheral equipment\n\nnecessary for the operation of the new computer system;\n\n3. To purchase or lease any and all software needed for the\n\noperation of the new computer system;\n\n4. To pay for all computer programming and analysis necessary\n\nto make the new computer system operational;\n\n5. To pay for all designing, engineering, planning, networking,\n\nand training to make the new computer system operational;\n\n6. To pay for all shipping and installation charges for the\n\ncomputer system and its auxiliary and peripheral equipment; and\n\n7. To make refunds of contributions erroneously collected and\n\ndeposited in the OESC Computer Fund.\n\nB. If any money remains in this fund after the new computer\n\nsystem has been brought on line and made fully operational, that\n\nexcess money shall be transferred to the Unemployment Compensation\n\nFund.\n\nC. If the Commission receives a grant from the United States\n\nDepartment of Labor to be used to make the Commission's computer\n\nsystem compliant with the year 2000, or if the Commission receives a\n\ngrant from the United States Department of Labor to upgrade or\n\nmodify its Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), then the\n\nCommission will, upon receipt of the federal grant money, deduct an\n\nequal amount of money from the OESC Computer Fund and transfer it to\n\nthe Unemployment Compensation Fund.","path":["OK Code","Title 40"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os40.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7526f42cf447d0c6dd68abb3ab7f51bcdde38f8fb7007f16a91c8213ac31f18c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-6-101","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-6-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
