The monies in the OESC Technology Fund shall be used for the\n\nfollowing purposes:\n\n1. To purchase or lease new technology systems hardware for the\n\nOklahoma Employment Security Commission to be used in its mission to\n\nprovide employment services, unemployment insurance and economic\n\nresearch for the citizens of this state as well as the\n\nadministration of these programs;\n\n2. To purchase or lease any auxiliary or peripheral equipment\n\nnecessary for the operation of the new technology systems;\n\n3. To pay for the maintenance of all OESC technology system\n\nhardware;\n\n4. To purchase or lease any and all software needed for the\n\noperation of the new technology systems;\n\n5. To pay for all OESC technology system software license fees;\n\n6. To pay for all programming and analysis necessary to make\n\nthe new technology system operational;\n\n7. To pay for all testing, designing, engineering, planning,\n\nnetworking and training to make the new technology system\n\noperational;\n\n8. To pay for all shipping and installation charges for the\n\ntechnology system and its auxiliary and peripheral equipment;\n\n9. To contract with vendors and hire personnel as necessary to\n\naccomplish the modernization effort;\n\n10. To analyze business processes and develop requirements for\n\nRequests for Proposals;\n\n11. To fund project planning, project management, strategy\n\ndevelopment and project consulting services; and\n\n12. To make refunds of money erroneously collected and\n\ndeposited in the OESC Technology Fund.\n\nB. Prior to expenditures authorized by paragraphs 1, 4, 6, 7,\n\n9, 10 and 11 of subsection A of this section, the Chief Information\n\nOfficer of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall be\n\nconsulted for recommendations. The Office of Management and\n\nEnterprise Services shall provide periodic oversight of the\n\ntechnology modernization efforts and may assist the Oklahoma\n\nEmployment Security Commission in any manner necessary to accomplish\n\nthe purposes of this fund, including requiring the Oklahoma\n\nEmployment Security Commission to provide regular reports to the\n\nOffice of Management and Enterprise Services on the technology\n\nmodernization efforts.","path":["OK Code","Title 40"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os40.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"db9636c69d1a3c664779bcd54d887a8c8f9b026e5ce6ee8f4477f02735255754","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-6-201","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-40-40-6-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
