No child under sixteen (16) years of age shall be employed\n\nor permitted to work at any of the following occupations:\n\n1. Manufacturing, mining, or processing occupations, including\n\noccupations requiring performance of any duties in work rooms or\n\nwork places where goods are manufactured, mined, or otherwise\n\nprocessed;\n\n2. Occupations which involve the operation or tending of\n\nhoisting apparatus or of any power-driven machinery other than\n\noffice machines;\n\n3. The operation of motor vehicles or service as helpers on\n\nsuch vehicles;\n\n4. Public messenger service;\n\n5. Occupations declared to be particularly hazardous to the\n\nhealth and well-being of minors under sixteen (16) years of age by\n\nfederal laws and regulations or as declared by the Commissioner of\n\nLabor; and\n\n6. Occupations, except office work or sales work, in connection\n\nwith:\n\na. transportation of persons or property by rail,\n\nhighway, air, water, pipeline or other means,\n\nb. warehousing and storage,\n\nc. communications and public utilities, and\n\nd. construction including demolition and repair.\n\nB. This section shall not apply to:\n\n1. Children working either on farms or for parents or any\n\nentity in which a parent owns an equity interest;\n\n2. Children engaged in the sale or delivery of newspapers to\n\nconsumers; or\n\n3.
