Pursuant to the provisions of Section 904 of Title 40 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes, the Oklahoma Workforce Commission shall implement\n\nprograms in this state to address the following:\n\n1. Development of a workforce in high demand occupations or\n\ncritical occupations as determined by the Oklahoma Workforce\n\nCommission. Actions taken by the Commission may include:\n\na. identifying the needs of higher education institutions\n\nsuited for certain high demand or critical workforce\n\nareas and helping the institutions develop and\n\nimplement plans to address those needs,\n\nb. identify outcomes based on funding,\n\nc. identifying and partnering for scholarship match\n\nopportunities for students interested in these high\n\ndemand and critical workforce fields, and\n\nd. helping institutions increase program capacity;\n\n2. Development of work-based learning opportunities, which may\n\ninclude, but not be limited to, internships, apprenticeships, and\n\nother career exploration and exposure; and\n\n3. Development of innovation within public schools as defined\n\nin Section 1-106 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes that supports\n\nworkforce success, which may include:\n\na. developing enhanced or unique education pathways,\n\nb. utilizing development grants for basic skills\n\ndevelopment,\n\nc. utilizing regulatory innovation grants, and\n\nd. assisting in the development of career-connected high\n\nschools.\n\nB. The Commission may administer these programs through funds\n\nin the Oklahoma Workforce Commission Revolving Fund created in\n\nSection 3 of this act.\n\nC.
