Stat. tit. 41, § 41-116","heading":"Person to accept service or notice - Identity of owner and","body":"manager - Failure to comply with section.\n\nA. As a part of any rental agreement the lessor shall\n\nprominently and in writing identify what person at what address is\n\nentitled to accept service or notice under this act. The landlord\n\nor any person authorized to enter into a rental agreement on his\n\nbehalf shall disclose to the tenant in writing at or before the\n\ncommencement of the tenancy the name and address of:\n\n1. The person or persons authorized to manage the premises;\n\n2. The owner or owners of the premises; or\n\n3. The name and address of a person authorized to act for and\n\non behalf of the owner for the purpose of receipt of service of\n\nprocess and receiving and receipting for notices.\n\nThe information required to be furnished by this section shall\n\nbe kept current and this section extends to and is enforceable\n\nagainst any successor owner, landlord or manager.\n\nB. A person who fails to comply with this section becomes a\n\nlandlord for the purposes of this act and an agent of each person\n\nwho is otherwise a landlord for:\n\n1. Receipt of service of process and receiving and receipting\n\nfor notices and demands; and\n\n2.
