Stat. tit. 42, § 42-112","heading":"Filing statement of lien in office of county clerk - Right","body":"to lien as against purchaser.\n\nAny person entitled to a lien under this act shall, within\n\nthirty (30) days after the threshing or combining is completed, file\n\nin the office of the county clerk of the county in which the grain\n\nor seed was grown, or threshing or combining done, a statement in\n\nwriting, verified by oath, showing the amount, quantity and kind of\n\ngrain or seed threshed or combined, the price agreed upon for the\n\nthreshing or combining the same, the name of the person for whom the\n\nthreshing or combining was done, and a description of the land on\n\nwhich the grain or seed was grown or threshing or combining done;\n\nunless the person entitled to the lien shall file such statement\n\nwithin the time aforesaid, he shall be deemed to have waived his\n\nrights thereto; provided, that the lien provided for in this act\n\nshall not attach to any seed or grain after it has been purchased by\n\na grain dealer and has passed into his possession unless the lien\n\nshall have been filed with the county clerk of the county before the\n\nseed or grain was purchased by such dealer, or he shall have\n\nreceived written notice from the party entitled to the lien, of his\n\nintention to file the same.","path":["OK Code","Title 42"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os42.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0d5e00818339cc2f6ca762e71646edb221b3ceab64ed9860fb7149d7b4a73e8f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-42-42-111","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-42-42-113"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
