Stat. tit. 42, § 42-146","heading":"Enforcement of lien on oil and gas wells","body":"The liens created by Sections 144 and 145 of this title shall be\n\nenforced pursuant to the provisions of Sections 171 through 178 of\n\nthis title. Notice of the lien shall be given and the materialman's\n\nstatement or the lien of any laborer shall be filed, in the same\n\nmanner as is provided for in Sections 141 through 143.4 of this\n\ntitle, except that Section 142.6 of this title shall not apply to\n\nliens created pursuant to Sections 144 and 145 of this title and the\n\nstatement required to be filed in the office of the county clerk\n\npursuant to Section 143 of this title as to liens created pursuant\n\nto Sections 144 and 145 of this title shall be filed within one\n\nhundred eighty (180) days after the date upon which material,\n\nmachinery or supplies were last furnished or labor or services last\n\nperformed under the relevant contract or subcontract, whichever the\n\ncase may be. A lien created pursuant to Sections 144 and 145 of\n\nthis title shall affect only the oil and gas leasehold estate and\n\nshall not constitute a lien against or otherwise affect any other\n\ninterest in the real property involved, except if the owner of an\n\noil, gas or other mineral interest therein shall also own a working\n\ninterest in a well located thereon, such lien shall attach to said\n\nworking interest.","path":["OK Code","Title 42"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os42.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f9289944ee5fbb684f4606cc436a5cd2557fbc609ff94c0267980b493ff9c46b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-42-42-145","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-42-42-147.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
