Any person selling, furnishing, applying or providing to the\n\nowner of crops which are growing or to be grown, any seed,\n\nchemicals, pesticides, herbicides or fertilizer for the growing of\n\nthe crops shall, upon filing, have a lien on the crops for the\n\namount due for such seed, chemicals, pesticides, herbicides or\n\nfertilizer or for the application thereof. The lien provided for in\n\nthis section shall be subject to all prior perfected liens.\n\nB. The lien created by this section shall not be effective\n\nunless filed as an agricultural lien pursuant to Article 9 of the\n\nUniform Commercial Code.\n\nC.
