Stat. tit. 43, § 43-123","heading":"Remarriage and cohabitation - Appeal from judgment","body":"It shall be unlawful for either party to an action for divorce\n\nwhose former husband or wife is living to marry in this state a\n\nperson other than the divorced spouse within six (6) months from\n\ndate of decree of divorce granted in this state, or to cohabit with\n\nsuch other person in this state during said period if the marriage\n\ntook place in another state; and if an appeal be commenced from said\n\ndecree, it shall be unlawful for either party to such cause to marry\n\nany other person and cohabit with such person in this state until\n\nthe expiration of thirty (30) days from the date on which final\n\njudgment shall be rendered pursuant to such appeal. Any person\n\nviolating the provisions of this section by such marriage shall be\n\ndeemed guilty of the Class D1 felony offense of bigamy and shall be\n\npunished as provided for in subsections B through F of Section 20N\n\nof Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Any person violating the\n\nprovisions of this section by such cohabitation shall be deemed\n\nguilty of the Class D1 felony offense of adultery and shall be\n\npunished as provided for in subsections B through F of Section 20N\n\nof Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nAn appeal from a judgment granting or denying a divorce shall be\n\nmade in the same manner as in any other civil case.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 4971.
