An arrearage in payment of child support reduced to an order\n\nof the court or administrative order of the Department of Human\n\nServices or any past due payment or installment of child support\n\nthat is a judgment and lien by operation of law may be a lien\n\nagainst the real and personal property of the person ordered to make\n\nthe support payments.\n\nB. Past due amounts of child support shall become a lien by\n\noperation of law upon the real and personal property of the person\n\nordered to make the payments at the time they become past due.\n\nC. 1. A judgment or order providing for the payment of current\n\nsupport or an arrearage of child support shall be a lien upon real\n\nproperty owned by the person obligated to pay support or upon any\n\nreal property which may be acquired by the person prior to the\n\nrelease of the lien. Notice of the lien on real property shall be\n\ngiven by the filing of a statement of judgment pursuant to Section\n\n706 of Title 12 of the Oklahoma Statutes with the county clerk of\n\nthe county where the property is located.\n\n2. If child support services are being provided under the state\n\nchild support plan as provided under Section 237 of Title 56 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes, the amount reflected in the official records of\n\nthe Centralized Support Registry provided for in Section 413 of this\n\ntitle shall constitute the amount of the lien on the obligor's real\n\nproperty, regardless of the amount reflected in the statement of\n\njudgment.\n\n3. The judgment or order shall not become a lien for any sums\n\nprior to the date they severally become due and payable. A child\n\nsupport judgment shall become dormant as a lien upon real property\n\nfive (5) years from the date the statement of judgment is filed of\n\nrecord with the county clerk unless the judgment lien is extended in\n\naccordance with subsection C of Section 759 of Title 12 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes.\n\nD. A judgment providing for the payment of an arrearage of\n\nchild support or pursuant to which a past due amount has accrued\n\nshall become a lien upon benefits payable as a lump sum received\n\nfrom a personal injury, wrongful death or workers' compensation\n\nclaim of the person ordered to pay the support and shall not be\n\nsubject to the exemptions from attachment of Section 1 of Title 31\n\nof the Oklahoma Statutes or as otherwise provided by law. The lien\n\nshall be effective upon the filing of a notice of lien with the\n\ncourt in which a proceeding for personal injury, wrongful death or\n\nworkers’ compensation has been initiated by or on behalf of the\n\nobligor. If a proceeding has not been initiated, a notice of lien\n\nshall be served by mail upon the entity responsible for paying\n\nmonies to the person ordered to pay support. A court or the entity\n\nresponsible for satisfying the lien may request a certified copy of\n\nthe judgment or order be attached to the lien.\n\nE. The provisions of this section shall be available to an\n\nagency of another state responsible for implementing the child\n\nsupport enforcement program set forth in Title IV-D, of the Social\n\nSecurity Act seeking to enforce a judgment for child support.\n\nF. The provisions of this section shall not authorize a forced\n\nsale of any real property to enforce a lien which is otherwise\n\nexempted by state law.\n\nG. A lien shall be released upon the full payment of the amount\n\nof the arrearage.\n\nH.
