A court of this state shall treat a foreign country as if it\n\nwere a state of the United States for purposes of applying Articles\n\n1 and 2 of this act.\n\nB. Except as otherwise provided in subsection C of this\n\nsection, a child custody determination made in a foreign country\n\nunder factual circumstances in substantial conformity with the\n\njurisdictional standards of this act must be recognized and enforced\n\nunder Article 3 of this act.\n\nC.
