Stat. tit. 43, § 43-551-210","heading":"Appearance of parties and child","body":"APPEARANCE OF PARTIES AND CHILD\n\nA. In a child custody proceeding in this state, the court may\n\norder a party to the proceeding who is in this state to appear\n\nbefore the court in person with or without the child. The court may\n\norder any person who is in this state and who has physical custody\n\nor control of the child to appear in person with the child.\n\nB. If a party to a child custody proceeding whose presence is\n\ndesired by the court is outside this state, the court may order that\n\na notice given pursuant to Section 8 of this act include a statement\n\ndirecting the party to appear in person with or without the child\n\nand informing the party that failure to appear may result in a\n\ndecision adverse to the party.\n\nC. The court may enter any orders necessary to ensure the\n\nsafety of the child and of any person ordered to appear under this\n\nsection.\n\nD.
