Stat. tit. 43, § 43-551-315","heading":"Role of district attorney","body":"ROLE OF DISTRICT ATTORNEY\n\nA. In a case arising under this act or involving the Hague\n\nConvention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction,\n\nthe district attorney may take any lawful action, including\n\nresorting to a proceeding under this article or any other available\n\ncivil proceeding, to locate a child, obtain the return of a child,\n\nor enforce a child custody determination if there is:\n\n1. An existing child custody determination;\n\n2. A request to do so from a court in a pending child custody\n\nproceeding;\n\n3. A reasonable belief that a criminal statute has been\n\nviolated; or\n\n4. A reasonable belief that the child has been wrongfully\n\nremoved or retained in violation of the Hague Convention on the\n\nCivil Aspects of International Child Abduction.\n\nB.
