If the Department of Human Services has a reasonable basis\n\nto believe that a person has transferred or will transfer custody of\n\na child in violation of subsection A of Section 6 of this act, the\n\nDepartment may conduct a home visit and take appropriate action to\n\nprotect the welfare of the child as authorized by law.\n\nB. If the Department conducts a home visit for a child adopted\n\nor placed through an intercountry adoption, the Department shall:\n\n1. Prepare a report on the welfare and plan for permanent\n\nplacement of the child; and\n\n2. Provide a copy to the United States Department of State.\n\nC.
