Upon the filing of a petition authorized under this act, an\n\ninitiating tribunal of this state shall forward the petition and its\n\naccompanying documents:\n\n1. To the responding tribunal or appropriate support\n\nenforcement agency in the responding state; or\n\n2. If the identity of the responding tribunal is unknown, to\n\nthe state information agency of the responding state with a request\n\nthat they be forwarded to the appropriate tribunal and that receipt\n\nbe acknowledged.\n\nB. If requested by the responding tribunal, a tribunal of this\n\nstate shall issue a certificate or other document and make findings\n\nrequired by the law of the responding state.
