A petitioner may file a direct request seeking establishment\n\nor modification of a support order or determination of parentage of\n\na child. In the proceeding, the law of this state applies.\n\nB. A petitioner may file a direct request seeking recognition\n\nand enforcement of a support order or support agreement. In the\n\nproceeding, Sections 601-706 through 601-713 of this title apply.\n\nC. In a direct request for recognition and enforcement of a\n\nConvention support order or foreign support agreement:\n\n1. A security, bond or deposit is not required to guarantee the\n\npayment of costs and expenses; and\n\n2. An obligee or obligor that in the issuing country has\n\nbenefited from free legal assistance is entitled to benefit, at\n\nleast to the same extent, from any free legal assistance provided\n\nfor by the law of this state under the same circumstances.\n\nD. A petitioner filing a direct request is not entitled to\n\nassistance from the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.\n\nE.
