For purposes of this article, \"governor\" includes an\n\nindividual performing the functions of governor or the executive\n\nauthority of a state covered by this act.\n\nB. The Governor of this state may:\n\n1. Demand that the governor of another state surrender an\n\nindividual found in the other state who is charged criminally in\n\nthis state with having failed to provide for the support of an\n\nobligee; or\n\n2. On the demand by the governor of another state, surrender an\n\nindividual found in this state who is charged criminally in the\n\nother state with having failed to provide for the support of an\n\nobligee.\n\nC.
