Stat. tit. 43, § 43-9","heading":"Records - Return of original","body":"The judge or clerk of the district court issuing any marriage\n\nlicense shall make a complete record of the application, license,\n\nand certificate thereon, on an optical disc, microfilm, microfiche,\n\nimaging, in a book kept by the judge or clerk for that purpose,\n\nproperly indexed, or by electronic means using any method approved\n\nby the Supreme Court; and the record of the license shall be made\n\nbefore it is delivered to the person procuring the same, and the\n\nrecord of the certificate shall be made upon the return of the\n\nlicense; provided, that all records pertaining to the issuance of\n\nsuch license shall be open to public inspection during office hours;\n\nprovided further, that after recording of the original license and\n\ncompleted certificate as hereinbefore required, it shall be returned\n\nto the persons to whom the same was issued, with the issuing\n\nofficer's certificate affixed thereon showing the book and page or\n\ncase number where the same has been recorded.","path":["OK Code","Title 43"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os43.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7506f351227a6590faeb7487fb818b49d4208233221cae2c7f559ac84bcf80db","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-43-43-8","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-44-44-1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
