Stat. tit. 43A, § 43A-2-214","heading":"Training of institution personnel - Use of funds","body":"The Commissioner of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services\n\nis authorized to establish training schools within the Department or\n\nwithin any of the institutions operated by the Department, for the\n\ntraining of necessary personnel for the institutions, or may arrange\n\nfor the training of employees or prospective employees in any public\n\nor private school or institution within this state or elsewhere\n\nhaving available facilities for that purpose. Funds of the\n\nDepartment and/or institutions under its control may be used to pay\n\nsalaries to employees, or to pay tuition and subsistence for\n\nemployees or prospective employees, while receiving such training.\n\nAny employee or prospective employee who is paid a salary, or for\n\nwhom tuition and subsistence are furnished, while receiving such\n\ntraining, shall be required to enter into a contract prior to\n\nreceiving such training, that unless he continues in the employ of\n\nthe Department for at least a period equivalent to the training, he\n\nwill reimburse to the Department the sum paid to or for him by the\n\nDepartment during the period of his training.","path":["OK Code","Title 43A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os43A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"49c8a77cea79722154b837203e71c742bde4034ea4cca89f1947e327241a8766","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-43a-43a-2-213","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-43a-43a-2-218"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
