Stat. tit. 43A, § 43A-2-312.2","heading":"Savings and averted costs from implementation of the","body":"Oklahoma Smart Justice Reform Act.\n\nNo later than July 31 of each year, the Legislative Office of\n\nFiscal Transparency shall calculate the annual savings and averted\n\ncosts from the prior fiscal year that accrued to the state due to\n\nthe reduction of the number and length of incarcerations attributed\n\nto the implementation of the Oklahoma Smart Justice Reform Act. In\n\nmaking the calculation required by this section, the Legislative\n\nOffice of Fiscal Transparency shall use actual data or best\n\navailable estimates where actual data is not available. The\n\ncalculation shall be final and shall not be adjusted for any\n\nsubsequent changes in the underlying data.\n\nAdded by State Question No. 781, Initiative Petition No. 405, § 3,\n\nadopted at General Election held on Nov. 8, 2016, eff.
