As used in this section:\n\n1. “Emergency opioid antagonist” means a drug including but not\n\nlimited to naloxone that blocks the effects of opioids and that is\n\napproved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for the\n\ntreatment of an opioid overdose; and\n\n2. “Health benefit plan” has the same meaning as provided by\n\nSection 6060.4 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nB. Subject to allocation of federal funding for the purchase of\n\nemergency opioid antagonists, the Department of Mental Health and\n\nSubstance Abuse Services shall distribute emergency opioid\n\nantagonists to hospitals for distribution by hospitals of emergency\n\nopioid antagonists to patients not covered by the state Medicaid\n\nprogram or by a health benefit plan as described in subsection C of\n\nSection 2 of this act.\n\nC.
