Stat. tit. 43A, § 43A-3-451","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in Sections 3-452 and 3-453 of this title:\n\n1. \"Alcohol and drug substance abuse course\" means a course\n\ncertified by the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse\n\nServices designed to inform the offender about alcohol or other\n\ndrugs and driving, and encourages the participants to reassess their\n\nuse of alcohol or other drugs, and driving behavior, in order to\n\nselect practical alternatives.\n\n2. \"Satisfactory completion of a course\" means that the\n\ninstitution or agency conducting the course certifies to the\n\nDepartment of Public Safety that the participant has successfully\n\ncompleted the requirements of the course.\n\n3. \"Alcohol and drug substance abuse treatment program\" means a\n\nprogram designated by the Department of Mental Health and Substance\n\nAbuse Services for the treatment of alcohol and drug abuse, or\n\nalcoholism and drug dependency.","path":["OK Code","Title 43A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os43A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c6218ee1375fb14307efb5b8433c44a3f3cc2bd4b6a8fbfe32d9341fb6a42ccf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-43a-43a-3-429","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-43a-43a-3-452"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
