Stat. tit. 43A, § 43A-4-101","heading":"Humane care and treatment - Food - Discipline - Medical","body":"care.\n\nAll persons being treated at facilities within the Department of\n\nMental Health and Substance Abuse Services and facilities certified\n\nby the Department shall be given humane care and treatment. The\n\nfood shall always be sufficient and wholesome. No physical or\n\nemotional punishment shall be inflicted, and the rules and\n\ndiscipline shall be designed to promote the well-being of the person\n\nbeing treated.
