Stat. tit. 44, § 44-228","heading":"Deed or lease by county commissioners to Adjutant General","body":"The board of county commissioners of any county in the state is\n\nhereby authorized to convey title by deed, or lease for a term of\n\nyears, any lands and buildings belonging to or under the control of\n\nthe county which are not needed for county purposes, to the Adjutant\n\nGeneral acting as trustee for the Oklahoma National Guard. The\n\nAdjutant General shall not accept any such deed or lease unless the\n\napproval of the Governor of the acceptance be endorsed thereon\n\nattested by the Secretary of State. It shall not be necessary that\n\nthe Adjutant General pay any consideration for such deed of\n\nconveyance or lease. After such deed or lease has been delivered\n\nand accepted the Adjutant General shall be authorized to expend\n\nfunds appropriated to the Military Department of the state for the\n\nmaintenance, repair, and improvement of the lands and buildings,\n\nconveyed or leased. Every such deed or lease shall contain a\n\nreversionary clause to the effect that if the State of Oklahoma or\n\nthe Military Department thereof abandons such lands or buildings\n\nthey shall revert to the county. All such lands so conveyed or\n\nleased to the Adjutant General shall be under his supervision as to\n\ncontrol and management.
