Stat. tit. 44, § 44-72","heading":"Ordering into active service","body":"It shall be the duty of the Governor, and he or she is\n\nauthorized and required, in case of war, invasion, insurrection, or\n\nbreach of the peace or imminent danger thereof or any forcible\n\nobstructing of the execution of the laws or reasonable apprehension\n\nthereof, or an imminent or existing epidemic or pandemic, and at all\n\nother times he or she may deem necessary, to order on state active\n\nduty the National Guard or any part thereof.
