Restraint of persons charged.\n\nA. 1. Unless otherwise provided in paragraph 2 of this\n\nsubsection, any person subject to the Oklahoma Uniform Code of\n\nMilitary Justice who is charged with an offense under the Code may\n\nbe ordered into arrest or confinement, as the circumstances require.\n\n2. When a person subject to the Code is charged only with an\n\noffense that is normally tried by summary court-martial, the person\n\nordinarily shall not be ordered into confinement.\n\nB. 1. When a person subject to the Code is ordered into arrest\n\nor confinement before trial, immediate steps shall be taken:\n\na. to inform the person of the specific offense of which\n\nthe person is accused, and\n\nb. to try the person or to dismiss the charges and\n\nrelease the person.\n\n2.
