Stat. tit. 44, § 44-811","heading":"Place of confinement, reports and receiving of prisoners","body":"ARTICLE 11. Place of confinement, reports and receiving of\n\nprisoners.\n\nA. Persons confined before or during trial by court-martial\n\nshall be confined in any place of confinement under the control of\n\nany of the armed forces, in any county jail or in any penal or\n\ncorrectional facility under the control of the Oklahoma Department\n\nof Corrections.\n\nB. No provost marshal, commander of a guard, master at arms,\n\nwarden, keeper, or officer of a place of confinement designated in\n\nsubsection A of this section shall refuse to receive or keep any\n\nprisoner committed to his or her charge, when the committing person\n\nfurnishes a statement, signed by him or her, of the offense charged\n\nagainst the prisoner.\n\nC. Every commander of a guard, master at arms, warden, keeper,\n\nor officer of a place of confinement designated in subsection A of\n\nthis section, to whose charge a prisoner is committed shall, within\n\ntwenty-four (24) hours after that commitment or as soon as he or she\n\nis relieved from guard, report to the commanding officer of the\n\nprisoner the name of the prisoner, the offense charged against him\n\nor her, and the name of the person who ordered or authorized the\n\ncommitment.","path":["OK Code","Title 44"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os44.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b35708faf46e44ed3f11098d9822039297e491c413b6b60952146dde39212688","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-44-44-810","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-44-44-812"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
