Who may convene summary courts-martial.\n\nA. Summary courts-martial may be convened by:\n\n1. Any person who may convene a general or special court-\n\nmartial;\n\n2. The commanding officer of a battalion in the army component\n\nof state military forces;\n\n3. The commanding officer of a group in the air component of\n\nstate military forces; or\n\n4. Any other commanding officer designated by the Adjutant\n\nGeneral.\n\nB.
