Before performing their respective duties, military judges,\n\nmembers of general and special courts-martial, trial counsel,\n\nassistant trial counsel, defense counsel, assistant or associate\n\ndefense counsel, reporters, and interpreters shall take an oath to\n\nperform their duties faithfully. The form of the oath, the time and\n\nplace of the taking thereof, the manner of recording the same, and\n\nwhether the oath shall be taken for all cases in which these duties\n\nare to be performed or for a particular case, shall be as prescribed\n\nin regulations promulgated by the Adjutant General. These\n\nregulations may provide that an oath to perform faithfully duties as\n\na military judge, trial counsel, assistant trial counsel, defense\n\ncounsel, or assistant or associate defense counsel may be taken at\n\nany time by any judge advocate or other person certified to be\n\nqualified or competent for the duty, and if such an oath is taken it\n\nneed not again be taken at the time the judge advocate, or other\n\nperson is detailed to that duty.\n\nB.
