General and special courts-martial. Each general or special\n\ncourt-martial shall keep a separate record of the proceedings in\n\neach case brought before it. The record shall be certified by a\n\ncourt reporter, except that in the case of death, disability, or\n\nabsence of a court reporter, the record shall be certified by an\n\nofficial selected as the Adjutant General may prescribe by\n\nregulation.\n\nB. Summary courts-martial. Each summary court-martial shall\n\nkeep a separate record of the proceedings in each case, and the\n\nrecord shall be certified in the manner required by such regulations\n\nas the Adjutant General may prescribe.\n\nC. Contents of record.\n\n1. Except as provided in paragraph 2 of this subsection, the\n\nrecord shall contain such matters as the Adjutant General may\n\nprescribe by regulation.\n\n2. In accordance with regulations prescribed by the Adjutant\n\nGeneral, a complete record of proceedings and testimony shall be\n\nprepared in any case of a sentence of dismissal, discharge,\n\nconfinement for more than six (6) months, or forfeiture of pay for\n\nmore than six (6) months.\n\nD. A copy to the accused. A copy of the record of the\n\nproceedings of each general and special court-martial shall be given\n\nto the accused as soon as it is certified.\n\nE. Copy to victim. In the case of a general or special court-\n\nmartial upon request, a copy of all prepared records of the\n\nproceedings of the court-martial shall be given to the victim of the\n\noffense if the victim testified during the proceedings. The record\n\nof the proceedings shall be provided without charge and as soon as\n\nthe records are certified.
