Sentences: reduction in enlisted grade.\n\nA. A court-martial sentence of an enlisted member in a pay\n\ngrade above E-1, as set forth in the judgment of the court-martial\n\nentered into the record under Section 860C of this title (Article\n\n60C), that includes:\n\n1. A dishonorable or bad-conduct discharge; or\n\n2. Confinement,\n\nreduces that member to pay grade E-1, if such a reduction is\n\nauthorized by regulation prescribed by the Governor or Adjutant\n\nGeneral. The reduction in pay grade shall take effect on the date\n\non which the judgment is so entered.\n\nB. If the sentence of a member who is reduced in pay grade\n\nunder subsection A of this section is set aside or reduced, or, as\n\nfinally affirmed, does not include any punishment named in\n\nparagraphs 1 or 2 of subsection A of this section, the rights and\n\nprivileges of which he or she was deprived because of that reduction\n\nshall be restored to him or her and he or she is entitled to the pay\n\nand allowances to which he or she would have been entitled, for the\n\nperiod the reduction was in effect, had he or she not been so\n\nreduced.","path":["OK Code","Title 44"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os44.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"55aeda06db51b89a6ad40e7ed14a8b8d1aee381295492c47f29721401a4495a3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-44-44-858","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-44-44-858b"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
