Waiver of right to appeal; withdrawal of appeal.\n\nA. Waiver of right to appeal. After entry of judgment in a\n\ngeneral or special court-martial, under regulations promulgated by\n\nthe Adjutant General, the accused may waive the right to appellate\n\nreview in each case subject to such review under Section 866 of this\n\ntitle (Article 66). Such a waiver shall be:\n\n1. Signed by the accused and by defense counsel; and\n\n2. Attached to the record of trial.\n\nB. Withdrawal of appeal. In a general or special court-\n\nmartial, the accused may withdraw an appeal at any time.\n\nC. Waiver or withdrawal as bar.
