Stat. tit. 45, § 45-1b","heading":"Chief Mine Inspector - Director","body":"The chief executive officer of the Department of Mines shall be\n\nthe Chief Mine Inspector. In the absence of an appointed Chief Mine\n\nInspector the chief executive officer shall be the Director who\n\nshall be appointed by the Oklahoma Mining Commission and who shall\n\nserve at the pleasure of said Commission and fix his or her duties\n\nand compensation. The Director shall be chosen with regard to his\n\nor her knowledge, training, experience and ability in administering\n\nthe functions of the Department.
