There is hereby established the Oklahoma Miner Training\n\nInstitute. The Oklahoma Miner Training Institute shall administer\n\nminer safety training programs and economic development programs to\n\nassist the mining industry in this state.\n\nB. The Oklahoma Mining Commission shall contract with the Board\n\nof Regents of Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton for\n\nfacilities, faculty and services necessary for the operation of the\n\nInstitute including, but not limited to, the services of a Director\n\nof the Institute and for the development of appropriate curriculum\n\nand other services to be offered by the Institute. The Regents of\n\nEastern Oklahoma State College shall appoint a Director for the\n\nOklahoma Miner Training Institute.\n\nC. The Director of the Oklahoma Miner Training Institute shall\n\nhave knowledge, training, experience and ability consistent with the\n\nfunctions of the Oklahoma Miner Training Institute. Further, the\n\nDirector shall have been a resident and a qualified elector of this\n\nstate for a period of at least three (3) years prior to his\n\nselection as Director.\n\nD.
