Stat. tit. 45, § 45-37","heading":"Withdrawal of person's from dangerous mine - Violations -","body":"Penalties.\n\nThe Chief Mine Inspector or assistant mine inspector is\n\nauthorized to temporarily withdraw all persons from a dangerous mine\n\nor portion thereof. Any owner, operator, lessee or agent who\n\nimpedes, hinders, or obstructs, either directly or indirectly, the\n\nChief Mine Inspector or assistant mine inspector from carrying out\n\nduties required by this section, upon conviction, shall be guilty of\n\na misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than Two Thousand Five\n\nHundred Dollars ($2,500.00) or imprisoned in the county jail for not\n\nmore than thirty (30) days, or both.\n\nAny mine employee who neglects to comply with an order of the\n\nChief Mine Inspector or assistant mine inspector temporarily\n\nwithdrawing persons from the mine, upon conviction, shall be guilty\n\nof a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than One Thousand\n\nDollars ($1,000.00) or imprisoned in the county jail not more than\n\nthirty (30) days, or both.","path":["OK Code","Title 45"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os45.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e962d64d3db02ac4ad48a1eb9309021bcd5864337710314933ce45ef6a713144","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-361","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-40"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
