Stat. tit. 45, § 45-412","heading":"Mine inspectors - Duties","body":"The Mine Inspector of said mines in addition to other duties and\n\npowers herein conferred, shall be and he is hereby authorized,\n\nempowered and directed to examine carefully all places and\n\nconditions where employees work in said mines. Where said Mine\n\nInspector finds a condition existing in any of said mines either on\n\nthe surface or underground, which makes the said mine a dangerous,\n\nunsafe or unusually unhealthful place for employees to work he\n\nshall, subject to the right of review hereinafter provided, serve\n\nnotice in writing on the operator of said mine so affected,\n\nspecifying in detail the things to be done to correct such condition\n\nmaking said mine a dangerous, unsafe or unusually unhealthful place\n\nfor employees to work. This notice shall specify the time in which\n\nsuch required acts shall be done by the operator of said mine.
