Stat. tit. 45, § 45-501","heading":"Maps of mines","body":"The owner, agent, lessee or operator of every coal or other\n\nmine, shall make, or cause to be made by a competent mining engineer\n\nor surveyor, an accurate map or plan, of such mine, no smaller than\n\non a scale of two hundred (200) feet to an inch, which map shall\n\nshow as follows:\n\n(a) All measurements of said mines in feet or decimal parts\n\nthereof.\n\n(b) All openings, excavations, shafts, tunnels, slopes, planes,\n\nmain entries, rooms, and other parts, in proper numerical order in\n\neach opening or stratum of coal in said mine.\n\n(c) The directions of the air currents, when practicable, by\n\ndarts, or arrows, marked thereon.\n\n(d) An accurate delineation of the boundary lines between said\n\nmine and all adjoining mines or coal lands where owned or operated\n\nby the same operator or other operators, and the relation and\n\nproximity of the workings of said mine to any other adjoining mine\n\nor coal land.\n\n(e) The bearings and lengths of each tunnel, or entry, or the\n\nboundary of property lines.\n\nThe said map or plans, or a true copy thereof, shall be kept in\n\nthe general mine office by the said operator or superintendent for\n\nthe use only of the mine officials and mine inspectors, and for the\n\ninspection of all persons working in said mines whenever said person\n\nor persons shall have cause to fear that any working place is\n\nbecoming dangerous by reason of its proximity to other workings that\n\nmay contain water or dangerous gas.","path":["OK Code","Title 45"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os45.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f8c23d398a496189b519a5e889eb63d6a15e7528fdd41060ec48e14bb691a5a1","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-5","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-502"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
