Stat. tit. 45, § 45-516","heading":"Ventilation","body":"The operator of every coal or other mine, whether shaft, slope\n\nor drift shall provide and hereafter maintain ample means of\n\nventilation affording not less than one hundred fifty (150) cubic\n\nfeet of air per minute, for each and every person employed therein,\n\nand seven hundred fifty (750) cubic feet of air per minute for every\n\nanimal employed therein; but, in a mine where fire damp has been\n\ndetected, the minimum shall be two hundred (200) cubic feet per\n\nminute for each person employed therein, and as much more in either\n\ncase as one or more of the mine inspectors may deem requisite, and\n\nthe ventilation shall be conducted through the main cross entries\n\nand all other working places, so as to dilute and render harmless\n\nand expel therefrom the noxious and poisonous gases, and all working\n\nplaces shall be kept clear of standing gases.","path":["OK Code","Title 45"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os45.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"00a6fe1d2ce9ae3d10d4f029b107d267ec5faf30705bfbfef8be6ca12f939826","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-515","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-517"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
