Stat. tit. 45, § 45-524","heading":"Use of oil and grease","body":"The oiling or greasing of cars inside of the mines is strictly\n\nforbidden, unless the place where said oil or grease is used is\n\nthoroughly cleansed once every day to prevent the accumulation of\n\nwaste oil or grease on the roads or in the drains at that point. Not\n\nmore than one (1) barrel of lubricating oil shall be permitted in\n\nthe mine at any one time. No explosive oil shall be used or taken\n\ninto the mines for lighting purposes except when used in approved\n\nsafety lamps, and oil shall not be stored or taken into the mines in\n\nquantities exceeding five (5) gallons. Only pure oils, as free from\n\nsmoke as pure animal oil shall be sold or used for illuminating\n\npurposes in any mine. Any person selling for use in mines, or any\n\nperson using, explosive or impure oils in any mine contrary to this\n\nsection, shall be punished by a fine of not less than Fifty Dollars\n\n($50.00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), or\n\nimprisonment in the county jail not to exceed thirty (30) days, or\n\nboth such fine and imprisonment.
