Stat. tit. 45, § 45-615","heading":"Violations of statute as misdemeanors - Civil liability","body":"The neglect, failure or refusal to perform any of the duties\n\nrequired by any section of this chapter, by any firm, association,\n\ncorporation, person or parties required to perform them, shall be a\n\nmisdemeanor, and where the duty so neglected, failed or refused to\n\nbe performed is by the terms of this chapter, required of a\n\ncorporation, then its officer or agent in charge of the mine, shall\n\nbe guilty, as hereinbefore provided for in this section, and, except\n\nas herein otherwise provided, shall upon conviction thereof, be\n\npunished by a fine of not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00),\n\nor imprisonment in the county jail, for a period not exceeding six\n\n(6) months, or both such fines and imprisonment; and in addition\n\nthereto, such corporation or other mine operator violating any of\n\nthe provisions of this chapter shall be civilly liable to any person\n\ninjured thereby to the extent of such injury.","path":["OK Code","Title 45"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os45.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b93c1d3228c2b1244cf1588c8aa364420932a429f8f1503f613cac571692ec93","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-614","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-616"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
