Stat. tit. 45, § 45-770","heading":"Release of performance bond or deposit - Application","body":"The permittee may file a request with the Department for the\n\nrelease of all or part of a performance bond or deposit. Within\n\nthirty (30) days after any application for bond or deposit release\n\nhas been filed with the Department, the operator shall submit a copy\n\nof an advertisement placed at least once a week for four (4)\n\nsuccessive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the\n\nlocality of the surface coal mining operation. Such advertisement\n\nshall be considered part of any bond release application and shall\n\ncontain a notification of the precise location of the land affected,\n\nthe number of acres, the permit and the date approved, the amount of\n\nthe bond filed and the portion sought to be released, and the type\n\nand appropriate dates of reclamation work performed and a\n\ndescription of the results achieved as they relate to the operator's\n\napproved reclamation plan. In addition, as part of any bond release\n\napplication, the applicant shall submit copies of letters which he\n\nhas sent to adjoining property owners, local governmental bodies,\n\nplanning agencies and sewage and water treatment authorities or\n\nwater districts in the districts in which the surface coal mining\n\nand reclamation activities took place, notifying them of his\n\nintention to seek release from the bond.","path":["OK Code","Title 45"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os45.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8ca3d44fd4cc2e78da8cff8c83125f74093f8143748cc42d1e3abee30046d821","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-769","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-771"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
