Stat. tit. 45, § 45-779","heading":"Notices and orders - Requirements","body":"Notices and orders issued pursuant to Sections 42 through 45 of\n\nthis act shall set forth with reasonable specificity the nature of\n\nthe violation and the remedial action required, the period of time\n\nestablished for abatement, and a reasonable description of the\n\nportion of the surface coal mining and reclamation operation to\n\nwhich the notice or order applies. Each notice or order issued\n\nunder this section shall be given promptly to the permittee or his\n\nagent by the Department and all such notices and orders shall be in\n\nwriting and shall be signed. Any notice or order issued pursuant to\n\nthis section may be modified, vacated or terminated by the\n\nDepartment. Any notice or order which requires cessation of mining\n\nby the operator shall expire within thirty (30) days of actual\n\nnotice to the operator unless a public hearing is held at the site\n\nor within such reasonable proximity to the site that any viewings of\n\nthe site can be conducted during the course of public hearing.","path":["OK Code","Title 45"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os45.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"110aea22378bf002ed4f849056f16e8419070cf70630d2d326cc1fabbd6348dd","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-778","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-45-45-780"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
