Stat. tit. 45, § 45-780","heading":"Action for damages and expenses - Injunctions, restraining","body":"orders or other orders - Jurisdiction - Relief.\n\nA. The Attorney General, upon request of the Department, shall\n\ninstitute proceedings to recover any damages and expense which the\n\nDepartment may have sustained by reason of the default of the\n\noperator. Such proceedings shall be brought against the operator\n\nand surety either in Oklahoma County or the county in which the\n\nviolation occurred.\n\nThe Department may request the Attorney General to institute a\n\ncivil action for relief, including a permanent or temporary\n\ninjunction, restraining order or any other appropriate order in the\n\ndistrict court for the district in which the surface coal mining and\n\nreclamation operation is located or in which the permittee thereof\n\nhas his principal office, whenever such permittee or his agent:\n\n1. Violates or fails or refuses to comply with any order or\n\ndecision issued by the Department under this act;\n\n2. Interferes with, hinders or delays the Department in\n\ncarrying out the provisions of this act;\n\n3. Refuses to admit authorized representatives of the\n\nDepartment to the mine;\n\n4. Refuses to permit inspection of the mine by authorized\n\nrepresentatives of the Department;\n\n5. Refuses to furnish any information or report requested by\n\nthe Department in furtherance of the provisions of this act; or\n\n6. Refuses to permit access to, and copying of, such records as\n\nthe Department determines necessary in carrying out the provisions\n\nof this act.\n\nB. The court shall have jurisdiction to provide such relief as\n\nmay be appropriate.
