Stat. tit. 45, § 45-791.1","heading":"Alternative reclamation practices","body":"In order to encourage advances in mining and reclamation\n\npractices or to allow post-mining land use for industrial,\n\ncommercial, residential or public use (including recreation\n\nfacilities), the Department with approval by the Secretary of the\n\nInterior may authorize departures in individual cases on an\n\nexperimental basis from the environmental protection performance\n\nstandards promulgated under Sections 746 through paragraph 2 of\n\nSection 760 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Such practices may\n\nbe authorized if:\n\n1. The experimental practices are potentially more or at least\n\nas environmentally protective, during and after mining operations,\n\nas those required by promulgated standards;\n\n2. The mining operations approved for particular land use or\n\nother purposes are not larger or more numerous than necessary to\n\ndetermine the effectiveness and economic feasibility of the\n\nexperimental practices; and\n\n3.
